About Dr. Askenazi – Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology Specialist

Dr. Galit Askenazi is a psychologist licensed in the State of Ohio, with work experience across the United States. This includes work at the city, county, state, federal, and appellate levels. She completed her undergraduate Psychology degree at Princeton University with High Honors and her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Case Western Reserve University. Training and work experiences were obtained at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, the Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Centers, and the psychiatric clinics for the court systems in Cuyahoga and Summit counties.

Dr. Askenazi is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), the highest level of certification available. She is a full member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), American Association of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), American Association of Forensic Psychology (AAFP), Ohio Psychological Association (OPA), and Clinical Neuropsychology and Psychology-Law Society divisions of the American Psychological Association (APA).

In addition to offering private evaluations through NFSS, Dr. Askenazi is the neuropsychology consultant for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Psychiatric Clinic, Cleveland Municipal Court Psychiatric Clinic, and Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic for felony and misdemeanor defendant evaluations for Summit, Medina, Portage, Geauga, and Stark counties, the city of Akron, and other local municipalities.
